NRA Basic Pistol Course
This Course meets all training and evaluation requirements described in Section 2925.125 (G) (1) and Section 2923.125 (G) (2) of The Ohio Revised Code. The Certificate awarded is a requirement of the Sheriff's Departments of the State
of Ohio to make application for a permit to carry a concealed handgun in Ohio.
The Certificate is valid for a period of ( 6 ) six years from date of issue.You must apply for your permit to carry a concealed handgun within that period or you will be required to retake the course again. You are not required to have a concealed handgun permit to legally purchase and keep a handgun in your home for personal protection. This course offering will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely and responsibly use a handgun for personal protection.
